Can anyone help me with making a hibiscus. I have worked days on these and cannot get it. Any tips at all would be appreciated. Am using Wilton gumpaste. Flowers fall apart and will not ruffle.

You may have problems with the consistency of your gumpaste. If it's too soft or too dry, it won't ruffle properly. Also, I would suggest putting each petal on its own wire, as if they were leaves, before assembling them. I've made them, and they are a bit of a PITA, but well worth the effort. Best of luck.

Hi, please read this tutorial. It is a great one. There are other tutorials on the internet. Just google. I love Wilton g/p and i make Nick Lodge's g/p. I use them seperate or sometime mix them together 50-50. hth

What a nice tutorial, icer101! Wish I'd had it when I was making mine. It makes me want to try it again.
