Hi!

I have a cutting cake to do for a wedding, along with cupcakes, and the couple wants an ice cream cake on top.

I plan on ordering a 6-inch round ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins and attach fondant flowers in the couple's wedding colors on the cake. If I use royal icing or chocolate, will it stay or will it melt and fall off/droop?

I suggested that the cake be kept in the freezer and brought out 15 mins. before cake cutting, so it doesn't melt.

Will the flowers be affected when frozen, then brought out to cut?

TIA!!

I don't know, maybe do a test run. Make a small flower and put it in your freezer, then take it out and see what happens.
