Is there a recipe to make modelling chocolate or do you guys buy? I'm looking to make a batch as I don't have access to store-bought modelling chocolate.

This recipe is from the store I take Wilton classes from.

14 oz candy coating
1/3 cup corn syrup

Melt candy coating. Stir in corn syrup. Mixture will become stiff.
Wrap in plastic wrap or press-n-seal overnight before using.

I make it using the Merckens brand chocolate. I use 1 - 16 oz. bag Merckens and 1/2 cup white corn syrup. I really like the way Merckens melts -- smooth and creamy. Melt chocolate then add the corn syrup. Stir until combined. Wrap in plastic wrap. If I need it soon, I put it in the fridge to harden. Best results are letting it set overnight.
