Is there a difference between a dough and fondant sheeter that sits on the counter top? I need to purchase a fondant sheet and realize it is a few dollars more than the dough sheeter.

Your thoughts?

I always wondered that as well. Seems to me that the difference is the "stickiness" of the gumpaste and fondant, but I use my pasta roller for gumpaste. Perhaps it is just another way to raise the price because many cakers are interested....
