I accidentally bought several boxes of DH Butter Golden cake mix to make the yellow cake version of the WASC. Has anyone had any success using this mix for the WASC? The difference between yellow cake mix and this golden butter mix is that the directions asks for 7tb of butter, can I just omit this step and follow the WASC directions. Any advice is REALLY appreciated. Thank you.

Did you ever try making a cake using the butter mix?
It seems to me I once did basically the same thing w/good results but I'm not completely sure.

I personally like the DH Butter Golden flavor over the DH Yellow. I never made WASC cake before and was wondering if someone has the recipe for the DH Butter Golden? Also has anyone substituted vegan sour cream to make a non-dairy version?
