I'm making a four tiered cake with dimension 40cm, 30cm, 20cm and 10 cm diameter....All the tiers will be 10cm high approx...

I was wondering if anyone could please advise me in approximately how much fondant they would use for this?

Also, if anyone has any advice about stacking...I'm using clear acrylic tube separators..I was planning on putting all cakes on individual cake boards....dowelling each cake below the separator and plonking the next cake on top...dowelling and next cake...does this sound right?

THANK YOU!!! icon_smile.gif
