I made a giraffe animal print cake, iced with buttercream and made spots with the brown wilton sugar sheets. The cake looked wonderful when done and when I took it out of the frig to deliver. I had a 2 hour ride so put it in a cooler with a small ice pack. When I took it out of the cooler some of the spots had air bubbles pop up in the center of them. It looked like blisters. I know it will happen with fondant but did think it would happen with the sheets because they are suppose to like melt into the icing. Did i let them get to dry before applying? But I did cut my shapes and then put them in a ziplock bag to keep the air from hitting them and took one out at a time when applied to cake. I really like these sheets and want to keep using them so I would like to know what I did wrong. Any advise. Thanks

I've only used them once and kind of had the same experience. It was a zebra print over buttercream. The stripes went on great but the next day they had loose spots. I am interested to see what others say.
