Attaching Fandant To Buttercream

I want ot put zebra stripes on a BC cake. What is the best way to get the fondant stripes to adhere? TIA

I did a zebra cake a few years ago and just used a little water to glue them on w a small paint brush. It worked great, and I trasnported it in my car for about 20 minutes. Just be careful not to use too much water or the black will bleed onto the white. I've also used piping gel to glue fondant onto fondant, and it'd probably work on buttercream as well

Just pipe a little buttercream on the back of the stripes. Piping gel works too.
