Has anyone ever tried using a food dehydrator to help fondant and gumpaste decorations dry a bit quicker?? We are coming up on humid Michigan summer weather and I am looking for ways to cut down on setting time....

Thanks!

Yes, it's been discussed.
Also, preheating an oven to lowest possible setting (200-250 degreesF) then *turning it off* and putting the items in there works for those who don't have a dehydrator.

I've set things in my oven overnight with just the light on. They turned out a little oily, but, man, were they stiff!
