I am wondering the same thing. We might have to call the company and ask.
Please let me know if you hear a answer .
Thanks
Pam

I have never used it before but it's available at the King Arthur Flour website. They have a pretty thorough description of the product, package info and 14 pages of reviews.

i have it and have yet to have good success with it. However, i have not used it in a recipe that was designed specifically for it. Just added to my own recipes in the way it suggests to do so. My advice...its not that expensive so why not try it. But make sure to do plenty of test bakes before sending one out the door.

Reviving this topic because i have an order i wanted to place with KAF and was wondering if anyone had tried this with a WASC cake or a doctored mix?
Thanks!

I found the King Arthur description fairly unappetizing. Sounds like a cake mix ingredient. Sounds like a way for KA to make more money.

Cake enhancer is an emulsifier .

WASC/doctors mixes are made of cake mixes that have emulsifiers already included in their ingredients .. there is no need to add more ...
