Which tip should I use for the Ice cream cone cupcakes - to get it to look like soft serve ice cream?
Is it 2D or 1M?
And should I start from the center of the cupcake and go around? Or from the outer edge of the cupcake cone?
Please post when you finish your cake.
I was going to say you could freeze your buttercream and scoop it out using a real ice cream scoop, but noticed you wanted the look of soft serve.
On the ones I have in my photos i used the 1M tip and started and the edge of the cone and worked inward and up. You could also use the couple without a tip on it if you like the rounded off looking soft serve.
Either one, I think they end up looking about the same. Go from the outside in and up. If you go from the inside and go out you end up with a rose design.
