Help With 3D Lion Cake

hi everyone
can anyone help me with tips and ideas on how to make a 3D lion cake
i have been asked by a little boy to make him a mufasa cake (from lion king)
my carving skills are very basic so any help would be appreciated.

Youtube it. I think Aine2 has a tutorial on creating sugar animals. If not her then Mayen.

But is it that you're doing a topper? Or the actual cake in the shape of the lion?

I would use the Wilton stand up bear pan. You can put in on another cake if you need more servings.

How about the Wilton lamb pan instead?
