So I get a last minute call from a regular customer who wants me to make this tall suerhero cake...We both decide that she really only need 4 tiers for transport purposes...They look to be 3 inch single layers...Would you stack 2 layers and then add a plate and pillars?

Here is the picture she wants me replicate but I am doing 12,10,8 and 6 only..

What do you all think....

I would definitely put a plate and dowels under each 3-inch tier. Even if it was only 2 inches, I'd dowel between each.

If you didn't, first, you'd have 6-inch high cakes. Way more of a pain in the neck.

Second, how in the heck would you decorate two entirely different layers of the same tier? I
