I haven't been doing cakes very long and I got an amazing bit of news tonight. I have been commissioned to make a cake for a large BMW car dealership that was just awarded the top BMW honor in the whole country. They want a cake that looks like their new dealership. Anyone out there with tips, ideas, thoughts, advice, ANYTHING, please PLEASE post on here for me.

Get as much info as you can about what they expect. Next thing they may be expecting a carved, Cake Boss style cake which is some ridiculous size and you might just be envisioning a regular tiered cake...

Get as much info as you can and get them to sign a contract. And I hope you arent doing this for free?

Yeah make sure that you can get get as much information as you can, flavour, colour ,style etc, Did they specifically ask for it to be calved? I wonder if a big sheet cake with the BMW logo will be good? or a square fondant covered one with a BMW car with their dealership in the background, or just their dealership?
