I would like to use my doll pick and classic wonder mold set to make a Mexican folk dancer cake. It would be really cool to recreate the swirling dress effect seen here using fondant & gumpaste.

I'm going to start experimenting with frills and drinking straw supports, but are there any other techniques I should try? Please help me in my quest to defy gravity!
