Yesterday I tried to get myself stirred up to make a cake for my birthday today. But in all honestly I have no inspiration driving me nor the desire to make desserts I have no will-power to stay away from. There is a plane trip coming up in the next month and I'd like to fit in my seat.
My three year old cuddled up to me just now.
"Can you get off the computer and make a birthday cake for you?"
No, son. I'm not going to be doing that today.
Poor deprived kids.
Thanks for providing my morning chuckle!!! I could just picture the whole disappointed toddler scene.
Here's a no-calorie birthday wish
A birthday is seldom a serious occasion,
Try not to take it like the d-day invasion.
Laughter and jokes are within sight,
Stock up on both, all through the night.

Hug that 3 year old and give him an extra special Birthday Pop Tart!
Oooohhhhhhh I am soooooooo sorry I didn't know. I could easily have made one for you and delivered it!
