I am wanting to use edible frosting sheets to put a background on a cake. I have the whole set up (printer, ink and frosting sheets) but i have never used them.
I wanted to know the best way to apply them and what will happen? Do I stick the frosting sheet straight onto the crumb coat or do i need a thicker layer? Or do I stick it to wet down fondant? Will it absorb into the icing/fondant? If I do it the night before is it going to look ok in the morning?
To give you an idea of what im wanting to do ..... it is the checkered part i was hoping to put on the frosting sheets and the rest of the cake will be fondant decorated
