I had a customer ask for a boob cake to be delivered to her husbands work for his birthday. The cake that she wants is pretty graphic and I am concerned about delivering it to his work. I am wondering if I should write up some sort of disclosure or contract. I am worried about someone getting offended or in trouble for it. She said that it is ok and I know that it is all men that work there but I am having second thoughts about it. Any advice would be helpful icon_rolleyes.gif

anything that you don't feel comfortable with doing you shouldn't do. but, if you want to do the cake but have a waiver that you are not liable for any actions from presenting the cake...go for it! you could also suggest herself and/or a friend or coworker come pick up the cake to would make more sense that someone in on the "joke" could do that icon_wink.gif

I would not send it to his place of work. This will be offensive to some people and this type of cake has no place in a public work scenario. You, the recipient, and the client may be sued.

If you plan to sell this type of cake, you may want to be knowledgeable on state and local pornography laws. Call your local PD and get the right department in charge of the porn shops, magazine displays, etc.

There are federal laws on sexual harassment. in the work place. We had classes on it at my work . A very sexual graphic cake would come under sexual harassment. It doesnt matter if all men work there .
Have someone pick it up .

Thank you everyone! I never thought of it as being pornographic but I will definitley look into that now. I decided to tell the customer that we are unable to deliver. icon_biggrin.gif
