I've been asked to do a religious celebration cake. They would like a sheath of wheat and gold lettering. Any ideas on what tip to use or how to get gold in color? Thanks for your help in advance!

to get a true *gold* one needs to use unedible gold dusts mixed w/gin (or such) to paint on fondant or royal icing. If you make it on a plaque that can be removed and not served that would be o.k.
As for what tip - a small round one (2 or 3) & light pressure make great wheat heads.
