Hi Everyone,

I have a few gumpaste figurines I will need to do for a couple of cakes coming up and was wondering if you could recommend the tools I need to get?

The only thing I have looked at so far is the PME Mini Modeling Set...is it necessary? I have most of the regular sized PME tools. What other do you use?

Thanks in advance!
Allie

I also use the tools in the large-sized set for figure-making. The only other tool I use a lot is the stitch marking wheel, but I really use it A LOT. I also use a lot of toothpicks, thin skewers, fat skewers (I use these three things for frilling and rolling small pieces out), plus various and sundry other things I find around the house that can be put to use as needed. Oh, yes, and a clay extruder - I couldn't live without that!
