My 17 year old daughter spent most of the day yesterday making a scratch vanilla cake with Italian meringue buttercream for a friend's birthday party that night. It was a 12 inch square four layer cake. She made the fondant lettering and decorated it herself.

The birthday boy told her that it was the best birthday cake he had ever had, but he had one question...

How did she get the frosting into the middle?
