How would I be able to cover cake in ganache to hav it look so smooth n shiny...do I have to have a think buttercream base?
Hi there, here are some videos on how you can get a smooth finish. This was posted by mrs.mudrash from Jessicakes.
Ganache will form to the cake, so you do need a smooth surface to start with. When I do poured ganache I have always had chocolate buttercream under it.
