It's for next Friday but I wanted to know if I could make it this weekend and keep it in the freezer until I decorate the cake on Thursday. Sorry if this is asked a lot, I'm on my phone and it's having issues!
I don't see why not. I'd put it in a gallon size zip loc freezer bag, then in a cake box, just to protect it from getting smooshed. Transfer like normal when you are ready.
