Can I Put Fondant Details On A Royal Iced Cookie?

I am making bowling ball cookies, looking to use royal icing for the cookie part and to use fondant for the stripes on the pins. will this work ok? Any hints? Need to do tomorrow Thank you again for all your support

Yes, you can use fondant accents on RI.
I think it would be easier if you use RI for the stripes too.
You can either do the wet on wet technique or you can wait for the first layer of RI to dry before putting on the stripes for the Bowling pin cookies.
