I really love the taste of MFF and have made it a few times already, and even colored it a medium pink once while making it. Has anyone tried to add black gel paste to make black fondant? Does it work or do you just get gray? Also, how much gel paste should I add. I use Americolor gels.
I use her recipe too! When I need a large amount of black, I use chocolate chips when I make it, so it starts out brown and add Americolor Super Black to the corn syrup mixture. It does make it black, not gray. If I need just a small amount, I just color with Super Black.
Add chocolate chips or cocoa powder and then the black color.
