Well,
Its Nutmeg again with another question... icon_rolleyes.gif I am making a two tier (10in & 8in round) chocolate cake for a 7 year olds birthday party. It to be Monster High themed MMfondant and buttercream cake. Anyway, I decided to get a jump on things and bake the chocolate cakes tonight. All went well with the first layer of the 10in tier, but when I brought the second layer out of the oven, it had a crack down the side! Its not huge, but if you're looking at the cake at eye level, the crack goes down the layer top to bottom and is about 2inches into the cake. Should I scrap it and make a new layer, or is it no big deal and can be glued together???? Please help! icon_cry.gif
God Bless! Nutmeg icon_smile.gif
