Hello everyone, I saw this Doll Cake pic sometime back while browsing......it was so beautiful, specially the skirt that I could not resist saving the same.......can any of the experts here let me know how this was done, I mean the falling ruffles on the skirt.......can someone please crack this for me...thanks

I remember that cake and I had the same question for her -- as I recall she said she took little squares or rectangles of fondant and scrunched them up then adhered them to the cake. It's pretty, isn't it?

Thanks everyone for answering my query...so u mean to say that the swags/drapes were used overlapping......can one the experts here please post a couple of pics on how it was done....would be very much appreciated.....thanks
