I have just made the petals for my next project. It is a tiger lily and I needed to use the colour "Ice Blue". Couldn't find the exact colour at the shops and used sky blue in a lustre powder. I have steamed it to set as when I tried to put a lighter white powder over it it didn't seem to work. Can I put a white powder over it to lighten it to an ice blue now?

If not can anyone tell me what I could do to get the petal ice blue, its just down the centre of the petal.

I really appreciate anyone's help at this time as the cake is due tomorrow. icon_cry.gif

I would try mixing the white power with the blue before dusting the petals. I don't think your going to have much luck lightening it after it is on.
