Hi Everyone,
anyone has any ideas for what i can use for walls at the wedding expo? It's just a taped off open floor space and I would like to separate it from other spaces. I have been searching for it on the web, but cannot find anything. Interested in more of a budget friendly or do it yourself option.
Thanks, P

If you have a home improvement center near you, see what they have in free-standing screens.

If you have time to get something from the web, try something like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-PANEL-SHOJI-SCREEN-/200729844807?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ebc6e5c47 or this

If you are (or know) a handy woodworker, you could buy some one-by-ones, some double-action hinges, and some wrapping paper(butcher paper?, freezer paper?) and make a screen yourself.

Good luck.

Can you buy these things in the US? Over here they are called roll ups... They can be cheap or expensive depending on where you get them. They are useful because they are easy to store and can look fabulous. I hope you see the same pictures as me in this search:

You could also make a frame out of PVC pipe and elbows.

Another idea that I've used is to find those screens that are picture holders. That way pics of your cakes define your space.

What exactly is that? Do you have a picture of this set up? I'm trying to figure out how to do the set up so I can actually hang the photos around as well.

Well, that was my first idea, but unfortunately the pvc does not seem to be sturdy enough. Won't it sag under the weight of fabric that needs to be hung to actually make the wall. And then if I add anything else hanging.... seems like trouble. Have you actually made it? Did it seem sturdy?

You can also call your local rental company. Ask for a vendor - vendor discount on using a curtain and rod. One of my local shops rents it for somewhere around $6 a yard, and you only need about 3 - 4 yards to make a nice draping backdrop.
