Hi, Do you know the giant chocolate chip cookies that the bakeries make in a pizza pan? Well I would like to bake a giant black and white cookie in a pizza pan. I have a really good black and white cookie recipe. Do I use this recipe and spread it out in the pizza pan? Or do I use a cake recipe? Does anyone know how the bakeries make them? Thank you.

I've always used a cookie recipe and baked it in the pizza pan. thumbs_up.gif

That's sounds interesting. I might research on it or will ask some of my baker's friends. I already heard something like this before but never paid attention. Well, I keep you posted.

I do it all the time. I use parchment on the bottom of the pan. Next spread the cookie dough in the pan, stopping about 1/2 inch from the sides of the pan. If you don't leave that gap, the dough will rise up the sides of the pan leaving a big ridge all the way around. Also level the batter. Lower the temp by about 25 degrees.

Any cookie recipe will "go big" with some adjustments.

I forgot...

Usually my dough is about 1/2 inch high if it is something like chocolate chip, but even that can be increased with time and possibly a temp adjustment.

And no grease on the parchment. Think of this big cookie just like the little ones.
