Today I tried to make fondant from scratch, i.e from confectionars sugar..... I used domino 10x.... the texture is really like wilton fondant but the taste is too sugary.... can anyone help me with suggestion to get taste worthy fondant
You posted in the Business Forum, so you're trying to make it in large volume? Fondant is (as are most icings) sugary.
You can combine it with modelling chocolate to make it more vanilla-y. Or put some flavoring in it. It's going to be sweet no matter what.
