My Canon IP 3600 is not recognizing 2 of the cartriages. It keeps saying that the ink tanks are not installed in the appropriate position....but they are. How can I correct this situation? I've already tried turning it on and off and taking the two tanks out and putting them back in. Any suggestions? thx

Make sure that there is no ink dripped where the connection to between the chip on the cartridges and the connection to the computer. If there is dry it off really well and then try again. If that doesnt work, call our office in the morning so we can see what the problem may be

Hi...thanks for responding! There was a drip which I cleaned up but its still not working and the orange light keeps blinking. How late is your office open? I can call tomorrow morning but I won't be next to my printer since I'll be at work.
