Holes In Buttercream

Hi all,

After icing my cake, my icing has holes in it. Is that normal? I try not to over mic my icing, but I am not sure that is the problem. Why is this happening? FYI: I use all Crisco as a base.

Overmixing will not create holes but mixing on too high of a speed will. It will whip in air bubbles. Are you mixing on low?
