Hi all,

After icing my cake, my icing has holes in it. Is that normal? I try not to over mic my icing, but I am not sure that is the problem. Why is this happening? FYI: I use all Crisco as a base.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tasha. If I'm not mistaken the holes might be coming from over-mixing the bc or incorporating too much air? Not sure what else could be causing it. You should try Sharon Zambito's BC recipe I've never had that problem with hers. . Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
