Hi all,

After icing my cake, my icing has holes in it. Is that normal? I try not to over mic my icing, but I am not sure that is the problem. Why is this happening? FYI: I use all Crisco as a base.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tasha. If I'm not mistaken the holes might be coming from over-mixing the bc or incorporating too much air? Not sure what else could be causing it. You should try Sharon Zambito's BC recipe I've never had that problem with hers. http://cakecentral.com/recipe/sugarshacks-icing-and-tips . Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
