I have a tasting in a couple of weeks where the bride wants and orange raspberry cake. She tasted one like it at a bridal show a couple of weeks ago, she said it doesn't have any fillings. It is just cake... predominate flavor is orange with an undertone of raspberry. Very light tasting she said... I am searching right now... probably even as you read this icon_wink.gif Any chance anyone has a recipe like this or any ideas of how to achieve this? I am having a hard time already finding something like it. Could I take my regular vanilla and just add oils or extracts in?

The Whimsical Bakehouse book has a killer orange butter cake recipe in it. You could use that and experiment with adding raspberry jam or raspberry puree(as part of the liquid).
