i recently purchased some edible silver paint for decorating cakes but now cant get the paint off the brushes.
after i finished painting i put the brush under a warm tap and it set the paint and now the end of the brush is rock hard! i've tried acetone, soap, boiling water, letting the brush dry and scraping the silver off with a knife and there is still some paint left in the brush.
how do you get the paint out whilst on the go painting - otherwise i'm going to need to buy a load more paint brushes!

Isopropyl Alcohol cleans silver paint off brushes, although, I'm not sure it would after you have set it in water. But for future reference...

Isopropyl alcohol does work after water icon_smile.gif you can get some good value bottles on ebay rather than buying dipping solution which is more cost effective in my opinion.
