Made guiness chocolate chiffon cupcakes and a cake. Taste great but they are so light I doubt they are practical for cupcakes. I want to put a chocolate frosting on top and have visions of them toppling over from weight of frosting...... so do any of you cupcakers often get an order for chiffon type cupcakes???? They feel like there is nothing there and I can imagine customers complaining there was nothing to the cupcake ( except great taste). Should I not even bother to try and promote them and just stick with a chocolate cupcake and get the guiness in the frosting? ( I really wonder about any chiffon recipe if it is popular or practical to sell as a cupcake. I am very aware of how customers feel that they should be getting their money's worth. Have you ever sold chiffon cupcakes and was customer happy with it?
