I'm making cake balls that look like sushi. I'm doing the "fish" in fondant and the "rice" is white jimmies. I'm going to roll the balls to be marshmallow shaped and then dip them in white candy melt. Can anyone help me with how to do the sides? They need to look like they're rolled in that dark greenish stuff (forgive me, I'm not a sushi eater lol!). Should I use fondant, or paint on some dark green chocolate? If I paint it on I know I'll have brush strokes, but if I use fondant I'm not sure how to attach it. Thanks for any help!!

I would use fondant and attach it with a tiny bit of melted white chocolate brushed on the back.
