Chocolate Ganache As Crumb Coat Under Modeling Chocolate.

I am making a cake using modeling chocolate to cover, as I need deep colors.
In addition, I am using chocolate ganache as a filling.
My question is...can I use the ganache as the crumb coat on the cake and will it be sticky enough for the modeling chocolate to adhere to.
