So I make my own MMF.
I know you can do decorations ahead of time and store in an airtight container.
I usually make them earlier in the week (say a Monday or Tuesday for a cake I'm going to finish decorating on a Friday Night)
My problem is:
I make my figure (say in this case a John Deere Logo) (Not 3D, just a flat cutout) I store it in an air tight container, I have my cake ready (Its round) And I want to put the flat decoration on the SIDE of the ROUND cake...and when i try to place it..its pretty hard already...so obviously I can't set it on, and make it lay on, so that it has a roundness to it. (Does that make sense?)

Do I have to let it dry laying flat? Or do I have it dry laying on the cake pan? Ive read people say when they keep fondant in an airtight container, it doesn't get hard...any reason why mine would? Thanks!!

I let it dry laying on the side of the cake pan with something on both sides ofthe cake pan so it doesn't roll away icon_smile.gif
