Making A Gun And My Rice Krispies Are Sliding???!!!???!!

So i have to make this xbox controller cake with camo hat and blk gun sitting on top and everything is turning out great but when i lay the gun on the cake and tilt it to the side like the picture the barrel starts sliding. I put a skewer in the middle through the whole thing so it doesnt curve but now its sliding around the stick!! help!! How can i fix this problem????

Did you pack the krispies tight and either ganache it or use melted chocolate to coat it before putting fondant on it? That is what I do. I refrigerate it until it gets really hard and then cover it. That how I made a 3d minnie mouse. It worked for me. Not sure what you can do to save it without redoing it. Someone else might have a solution for that. Good luck!

I would also cover the stick in melted chocolate then quickly put it back into place. The chcolate will act as a binder.

I will definitely dip the stick in chocolate!! Thanks, didnt think of that o_0 lol... and yess i used melted chocolate under the fondant.
