I am making a mickey mouse shaped cake and wanted to cover is in a ganache. How can I make it black without is seizing (SP) up on me?

You could try adding black cocoa powder to it to help it darken a bit... I dont know if that will work, but you could try...

Also, try the oil based tints out there for candy making... they shouldnt cause a reaction...
