Caring For Buttercream

i bought some premade buttercream in a huge bucket. once opened, should i refrigerate it? it has a really tight seal but i'm not sure what to do?

Read the expiration date on the label or call the place you bought it from.

You can usually leave it out at room temperature until the expiration date.

I usually buy the Wilton 4.5 lb tub and leave it on the counter.

My SIL bought a bucket once. She froze it in smaller packages. Once open, I don't know how long it will last at room temperature. I would def. call about it. Most manufacturer exp. dates are for unopened items. Once the seal is broken it may not last as long.
