Does anyone ever buy a lot of eggs on sale and freeze them, if so for how long?

I have never frozen eggs but I have frozen the liquid egg whites that come in a carton with no problem.

Here is a pretty good website on freezing eggs. It says up to one year

I like the idea of freezing them in ice cube trays. Once they are frozen you can pop them out and stick them in a freezer bag and then just grab the number of cubes you need to thaw.
