So I've been wanting to make banana fosters into cake for awhile. I found torani banana fosters. I bought it of course! But I noticed that when put into a cake it usually is sugar free syrup. Can I use this? Any sugestions on how to make a banana fosters cake?
Mine is from scratch and uses the authentic Brennan's Bananas Foster recipe. I use a banana cake, the BF sauce heavily brushed on top, and a European buttercream drizzled with more sauce. I make the real thing with the ice cream and this cake really brings home the taste. The Brennan's recipe is everywhere.
