I made a batch of Modeling chocolate earlier today...
1/3 c corn syrup
1 bag (10 oz) candy melts
Same recipe/ steps as I always do... But I went to start working with it a bit ago,,, and its extremely brittle and dry.
and it just doesnt act like it usually does. I have tried working it to warm it up but it just isnt right.
Any ideas as to why/ what happened?
Maybe you got a bad/old bag of candy melts?
Have you tried warming it in the microwave just a tiny bit and see if that works?
