I have only used fondant once before to cover a cake and it was a rectangle so fairly easy. I am trying to cover a football shape and am having a very difficult time. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I start point to point or around the centre? I have to have this done for tomorrow!

Hi,
I would either cover it in 2 pcs (a top half & a bottom half) or in 1pc starting from top and ending it underneath the bottom. It all depends on how you wb displaying your football. Will it be standing or laying down. then decide which method is suitable.
