what is a good recipe for a basic white wedding style of cake that is good for carving and stacking and covering with fondant???? im looking for a simple recipe that tastes great.


i have the great recipe i got on here for a doctored box cake that adds sour cream and pudding mix and i also ad a buttered vaninna flavoring i get at the cake shop but i would love to get away from doctored cake mixes. and do home made cakes.
