What cutter is used to make Ranunculus (buttercup variety)? maybe a rose petal cutter?

I used both circles and rose petals - both worked well.

I used a combination of rounds and teardrops to get the graduated sized I wanted.

Does your flower looks like a sphere when it is finished or tapered? mine looks elongated and not sphere like!!
