I have a recipe that I love I got on here but it is a doctored box recipe.
I want a good white recipe that is a good base recipe that I can make minor changes to change flavors
I need some good recipes that are good as cup cakes but also carve good, hold up to stacking, MMF,
I make cakes on the side for friends and our wetters can't charge much so I need cheaper recipes.
Also need good buttercream recipes that can be modified and not have to be refrigerated
If you like WASC as the doctored mix recipe, there is a scratch version here
along with a ton of easy alterations to alter the flavor and the texture is what I consider sturdy. I don't carve cakes but other people do use WASC for carving.
As for buttercreams, I like SugarShack's recipe but I feel you really need the hi-ratio shortening. If you want to use regular shortening IndyDebi's buttercream is extremely popular. Both are in the recipe sectiosn here on CC.
